Sculpture of Mouse with dandelions. Handmade from air-dry clay

This sculpture doesn’t carry any hidden meaning or deep concept. It all began when I stumbled upon a picture of a tiny mouse holding a dandelion like the most precious treasure in the world. I hadn’t planned on sculpting a mouse, but my mind exploded with ideas from that image. An unstoppable stream of visions flooded thoughts, each one offering a new way to bring this creature to life in clay. Even before hands touched the material, I imagined every curve, every delicate detail of the sculpture.

The most refined inspiration doesn’t always come from grand, ambitious concepts. More often, it arises from the tiniest, most unexpected moments. Every image, seemingly insignificant detail holds the potential to create an entire universe.

• I use different types of clay, depending on the details and ideas.
• Floristic clay - does not require firing, hardens in air, after drying it becomes plastic, flexible and light. 
• Air clay is almost the same properties after drying as a floristic clay. But much lighter, less plastic and has a velvet surface.
• Both types of clay are not toxic and very popular among many famous artists for creating sculptures, jewelry and decorative items, also used for children's creativity. 
• Each sculpture use metal wire frame, which makes it  durable for transport.
